Track shipments

Shipments flow into Orderly from your fulfillment platforms, each carrying a tracking number, carrier, service, and live tracking status. There are two ways to work with them: the Shipments table and the Tracking Map.

Open Shipments

The Shipments table

Shipments is one table across every bridge, filterable by status: Pending, Label Created, In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivered, Exception, Returned. Search matches tracking number or order.

Each row links out to the carrier's tracking page and back to the originating order. The segmented control switches between Shipments and Shipments + Orders. The merged view adds customer and order-total columns and lets you expand a row to see the shipment's route, weight, dimensions, a View label link, and the linked order. Export either view to CSV.

The Tracking Map

The Tracking Map plots in-flight shipments geographically and refreshes every minute. Filter by status with the pills across the top, or search for a tracking number or carrier. The stats bar shows your delivery rate and how many shipments are in transit, out for delivery, delivered, and delayed (past ETA or in exception).

Click a shipment to open its detail panel:

  • Progress: Shipped, In Transit, Delivered, with the ETA (or Overdue).
  • Route: origin to destination, flagging where it is stalled if it is delayed.
  • Timeline: every tracking checkpoint, newest first.
  • Route Intelligence (for shipments with enough checkpoints): distance, average speed, dwell time, efficiency, longest stop, and a predicted delivery ETA.

When a shipment has enough timestamped checkpoints, a Journey Replay bar appears so you can play back its path.

Take action on a shipment

From the detail panel you can request carrier interventions. Availability depends on the shipment's current status:

  • Hold at Facility, with a reason and optional notes.
  • Redirect Package to a new address.
  • Request Redelivery after a failed or exception delivery, with a preferred date.
  • Delivery Instructions to leave instructions for the driver.

Each is queued with the carrier and recorded on the shipment.
