Work the Intervention Queue
The Intervention Queue is the triage list: every in-transit order that is at risk against its transit SLA, ranked by the cost of letting it slip. It is where ops and customer support decide what to act on first. The same list appears on the Overview; the dedicated Intervention Queue tab shows the full 100.
Open the Intervention QueueReading a row
Each row is one at-risk shipment:
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Shipment · lane | Tracking number, then carrier, service level, and destination ZIP |
| P(breach) | The predicted probability this shipment breaks its transit SLA, as a bar |
| Transit | Hours elapsed against the SLA limit, for example "38h of 48h limit" |
| Act by | The last responsible moment, the latest you can intervene and still change the outcome |
A colored stripe on the left flags severity: red for the most urgent, amber for watch. The Act by time is highlighted when it is within 12 hours. The header shows how many are open.
This queue ranks by SLA breach risk, the chance a shipment exceeds its
carrier's transit-time limit. That is a distinct question from "will it miss the
promised delivery date," which the predictions surface calls
p_late. A shipment can be fine against its promise but still at risk of breaching
transit SLA, or the reverse.
Filtering
The top-bar search filters the queue live by tracking number, carrier, or destination ZIP. Use it when a customer asks about a specific shipment, or when you are watching one lane.
When it is empty
An empty queue is the good outcome: every in-transit order is inside its transit SLA. Orders appear here as risk builds, so check back, or keep it open since it refreshes live.
